We congratulate Blair Hodson’s success in the solo competitions at the 2013 (101st) Waipu Highland Games.

Blair entered the following events and was placed 1st in the following:

U21 and B Grade Hornpipe & Jig
U21 Strathspey & Reel
U21 and B Grade Piobaireachd
B Grade 2/4 March
and 2nd in the B Grade Strathspey & Reel.
Blair also won the Moon Family Trophy for the most points in the U21 events and the McLennan Memorial Trophy for winning B Grade.
Blair is both a talented piper and dedicated bandsman and the City of Sails Pipe Band wishes him even greater successes in the future.
